Overview

The course aims to help students develop basic skills in using drawing tools and methods for analytical, drawing-plastic reproduction of spatial forms. The practical tasks will focus on drawing living models, objects, and collections from the Department of Anatomy, Drawing, and Geometry of Art. The course will also teach how to represent and interpret spatial forms, composition, structure, light-shadow relationships, surfaces, abstraction, and materiality. Students will be able to deepen their knowledge and practice of drawing, a fundamental skill for visual and creative arts.

Course Content:

  • Artistic Drawing, Pictorial and Plastic Depiction, Artistic Anatomy (Preparatory Course in Visual Arts) at HUFA
  • 20 teaching hours per week A course consists of 600 teaching hours, running from September to May.

The minimum number of students: 8. If the number of applicants is below the minimum, the University will decide whether the course will be offered.

The admission consists of an admission interview, where the selection board will assess the applicant’s knowledge in the field of arts and his/her english language skills.
