The Rector of HUFA visited South Korea

The Rector of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. István Erős visited South Korea at the end of October to participate in the jury of the Icheon International Sculpture Symposium.

During his stay he met with representatives of several Asian universities, including Professor Lee Kyung-Woo, Head of the Department of Art Education at Kongju National University. This university is one of South Korea's leading research universities, particularly in the field of education. Discussions have started on cooperation between the two institutions.

He also discussed joint plans with Li Po Chun, Dean of the National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA) and Professor Hur Kang of Joongbu University in Korea. The cooperation agreement between NTUA and our university will be signed in December.

The Rector also met with representatives of the Yatoo Art Centre, who are expected to welcome HUFA students to assist in the completion of the works at the Geumgang Nature Art Biennale next year.
