This exhibition explores the theme of migration, resilience, and survival through the lens of three deeply emotional films: Dhaka, Before Pandemic and War, there Were Bed Bugs and Love!, and The Border Within. In the face of displacement, climate change, love, and conflict, each film offers a reflection on the personal and collective struggles associated with these issues. The exhibition establishes a conversation between these narratives, drawing attention to the intersections of personal, cultural, and global crises while concentrating on the resiliency of the human spirit and the internal journeys of those who have been impacted.
The exhibition’s aim is to highlight the real-world crises behind these stories—climate migration, the Rohingya refugee crisis, and the social isolation felt by migrants as well as to invite visitors to connect with the human emotions behind the stories, offering a deeper understanding of displacement, love, and survival.
