Chinese University Leaders Visit HUFA
On 17 September, a delegation of 14 senior members from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing visited us, including the Rector, Heads of Departments, the Director of the High School Affiliated to CAFA, and representatives from the International Office. CAFA is one of the most prestigious and respected art academies in China, making this visit a significant event for HUFA.
During their visit, the guests were introduced to the history of HUFA and they toured renovated parts of the main building, including the exhibition halls. They also visited the Library, the Department of Sculpture, and the Department of Anatomy, Drawing, and Geometry of Art. In the afternoon, HUFA department heads delivered presentations on the various courses and programs offered at the university.
A highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions. This agreement outlines plans for academic collaboration, including student and faculty exchanges, joint conferences, collaborative projects, and short-term workshops. The partnership is set to foster greater interaction and knowledge sharing between the two institutions.
